Fitzgerald's Florist has been serving the greater New Haven area since 1957. At Fitzgerald's we combine the dedicated excellence of a family owned business and a focused goal of providing our customers with freshest and most creative floral arrangements. Our staff of five designers will create stunning arrangements in classical, European and modern designs. Our shop always carries and extensive selection of fresh flowers delivered from around the world.

Fitzgerald's Florist celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2007. Founded by Judy Fitzgerald whose love of gardening and flowers sustained a successful business that is now into it's third generation. Fitzgerald's is now also co owned by Judy's daughters Maggi Suraci and Rosemary Fitzgerald and managed by her grandon David suraci. We continue her pledge to provide quality, consistency and unique designs.

Our other selections include customized funeral tributes, plants gardens, fruit baskets, an tropical arrangements. We offer free and consultations for weddings and corporate events and will sit down and take the time to make the day as special as possible. Our goal is to provide a beautiful presentation for every occasion from birthdays to gala events.

We have been the florist of Lori's Atrium Gift shop at Yale New Haven Hospital for almost 15 years and give the same attention to detail at that shop that we do at our own. The arrangements at the Gift shop are delivered fresh everyday and offer a wide variety of pricing from $6.00 to $100 and everywhere in between to fit everyone's budget.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $6.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

All orders for Funeral services in the A.M. need to be placed before 4:00 P.M. the day before the services to ensure delivery

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
